I began drawing in middle school inspired by monster movies and comic books. I used to draw my own comic books in sketchbooks. In high school I began to be drawn to color and emotion in art. My subject matter was often religious, introspective, or of angelic battle scenes. In college I studied realism according to the curriculum which helped me to draw and paint from observation, helping both my realist and stylized depictions.
