I love music and I feel that the improvisational techniques that I experience in freestyle poetry, turntablism, and jazz can be translated in a visual expression while maintaing their melodic and rhythmic musical aesthetic. I love color and for me certain colors can symbolize musical notes. I have combined color and jazz in these visual translations. I often create these pieces while listening to music, or interpret my own music through these pieces.
